A Mexican-Canadian filmmaker, Alba forged her career as a director in Montreal, after many years of working in the Mexican advertising scene as a 1st AD. Her debut directing was in true crime television shows. Her break in full scripted drama was In 2021, directing a rom-com movie for Lifetime US. In 2022 she directed in an eight-part thriller, Netflix original called Triptych. Alba works in different genres and countries. She speaks English, French, Spanish and Italian. Alba is calm force who communicates very well with her crews and everyone enjoys working with her. She is currently writing two different feature screenplays and in post-production of a narrative short film.
