Lowell Dean is an award-winning storyteller with a talent for the twisted. Lowell wrote and directed the horror-comedy WOLFCOP, an original concept selected from 90 projects nationwide in the Cinecoup Accelerator competition. Following its theatrical release, WOLFCOP quickly achieved cult status and was named “movie of the year” by The National Post. Lowell returned to write and direct ANOTHER WOLFCOP. The sequel premiered at Fantastic Fest in Austin and had its Canadian debut at Montreal’s Fantasia Film Festival, where it won the Audience Choice Award for Best Canadian Feature. Showcasing his range, Lowell has also directed children’s television (OPIE’S HOME, HI OPIE!), true crime docu-drama (BLOOD, LIES & ALIBIS), documentary series (HOLLYWOOD: SASKATCHEWAN), reality TV (DUST UP), and feature films like the zombie thriller 13 EERIE and the NSI developed post-apocalypse film SUPERGRID. In addition to directing, Lowell is currently developing original, high concept projects for film, television, and comic books.
