Naomi Jaye

Naomi Jaye is a filmmaker known for her visually striking storytelling that often explores the comedic side of human frailty. Her latest feature, Darkest Miriam—executive produced by Charlie Kaufman and starring Britt Lower—premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival, earning multiple Best Director awards during its festival run, as well as six Canadian Screen Award nominations, including Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay.
An alumna of TIFF Studio, Torino Film Lab, and Berlinale Talents, Naomi is currently developing The Common Father, a UAE/Canada co-production.
In addition to her narrative work, Naomi is the founder of Tremendous Productions, through which she creates large-scale video installations in collaboration with major arts institutions. She is set to mount Slow, an immersive installation exploring Parkinson’s and the aging body in the Spring of 2026.
