Nico Sachse

I was born in Pretoria, South Africa, where I studied Dramatic Arts at the Pretoria Tech before embarking on a brief acting career that saw me land television parts for the SABC and a season on stage for the Namibian Arts Council. I soon turned my attention to behind-the-scenes and joined the production team as a PA, from where I climbed the ranks to First Assistant Director. I moved to Canada in the 1990s and am a Canadian Citizen who calls Vancouver, British Columbia, my home.

In 2019, Warner Brothers and Berlanti Productions gave me the incredible opportunity to direct an episode of DC Legends of Tomorrow for The CW. It was well-received by the studio and network, and I garnered much support from the cast. They gave me an episode for the last three seasons before the show got canceled.

I have an extensive and well-rounded background in film production.
