A life director member of the DGC, as well as a member of ACTRA and UDA, Randy Butcher is arguably one of the most sought after stunt coordinators in the country. His experience designing and executing 'action' is second to none as evidenced by his extensive imdb credit list. Randy sold his first tv script to Nelvana in 1989, wrote and directed his first feature in 1996, and produced his first award winning romantic comedy feature in 1998. At the time Randy joined ACTRA, he was the first person to gain entry with acting, stunting and screenwriter credits. Randy's experience working alongside countless A-list directors, both Canadian and American, on television series as well as features and MOWs, is through the roof. Randy also co-hosts Going Again Podcast with his stuntman/actor/screenwriter son, Andrew Butcher, having conversations with industry professionals from all departments. Randy is an authoritative decision maker with affable people skills that make him an absolute delight to work with.
