Steve J. Adams is a Vancouver-based documentary filmmaker and Brand Creative Director known for emotionally raw storytelling that connects with mass audiences.
His feature documentary Satan Wants You was one of the most buzzed-about titles at SXSW 2023, with Variety calling it "this year's scariest documentary." The film earned a 95% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, won the Audience Award for Best Documentary at Fantasia International Film Festival, and was voted Best Canadian Documentary by the Vancouver Critics Circle.
His debut feature Someone Like Me — produced by the National Film Board of Canada — won the Rogers Audience Award at Hot Docs 2021. He has co-directed and produced over 20 award-winning projects including The Day Don Died (Palm Springs ShortFest 2019).
Steve is currently developing original branded vertical content formats and is commercially represented by Boldly.
