Montréal-based Wiebke von Carolsfeld is an award-winning writer and filmmaker, who most recently directed on the hit CTV/NBCU series Transplant. Previously, she directed three critically acclaimed feature films. Marion Bridge (starring Molly Parker, introducing Elliot Page), STAY (a Canadian/Irish coproduction starring Taylor Schilling and Aidan Quinn), and The Saver, winner of the Best Actress Award at the AIFF. Her films have played at festivals around the world (TIFF, Rotterdam (competition), Karlovy Vary, Sydney, Pusan, Goteborg etc), winning many awards including Best First Canadian Feature at TIFF, and inclusion in Canada’s Top Ten. Claremont, her first novel, was published both in Canada and in Germany and has been optioned for a limited TV series by Jeremy Podeswa.
