Zoe is a Heiltsuk and Mohawk woman and mother, born in Bella Bella, BC. Living in Six Nations Ontario, she learned the Mohawk language. She makes films that celebrate life and love and laughter and tears. Her work in television honours Indigenous stories and peoples. Zoe was a writer and director on the award-winning limited series LITTLE BIRD, a director on DON'T EVEN, RUN THE BURBS, SMALL ACHIEVABLE GOALS, and NORTH OF NORTH. Her feature films opened and closed many festivals and had a theatrical release. Both KAYAK TO KLEMTU and RUN WOMAN RUN are now available on CRAVE and CBC Gem.
