Mark Ratzlaff

Mark Ratzlaff has spent over a decade working as a commercial director and writer for television on shows for HBO, PBS, Amazon Studios, CBC, and VICE. Recently Warner Media selected his scripted drama series New Country for their Artist 150 Program and his debut feature Middle of Nowhere (based on the acclaimed novel by Caroline Adderson) is being developed with support from Creative BC. An alum of the prestigious CFC Directors’ Lab, Mark's credits include writing, producing, and directing on multiple seasons of Sesame Street. He was also a writer on the Emmy-winning Amazon Studios series Dino Dana produced by Sinking Ship Entertainment. His award-winning anthology of shorts have screened at Cannes in Telefilm's Not Short on Talent Program, Fantasia, San Diego's Comic-Con, TIFF and Vancouver International Film Festival. For his work on features and broadcast documentaries as a producer & editor he has received a CCE Award and a CSA nomination. He is represented by Meridian Artists.
