After a decade of story producing Indigenous current affairs and series television for CTV, BRAVO and APTN, I set out as an independent film maker. Since 2010, and through my company, Shaka Productions Inc., have been writing and directing television series: DREAMCATCHERS BIOS, CATCH THE DREAM BIOS and THE AGE OF A.I. In the summer of 2021 CBC released my first feature film called LEVI: BECOMING HIMSELF. I spent five years on the board of Vancouver Women in Film + Television elected as Secretary, Vice-President, and finally President. I am in my forth year on the Board of Directors of Reel Causes. I've sat on numerous boards and juries including: Canadian Screen Awards, Banff World Media Festival, Junos Awards, Directors Guild of Canada Film Awards, The Spotlight Awards and Crazy8s. I am thrilled to have recently been admitted into the Directors Guild of Canada as a documentary Director.
